This is the shocking moment masked gang members armed with baseball bats and knives brawled in the street in Birmingham, in broad daylight yesterday.

Video shows the fight kick off as someone smashes up a white car with what appears to be a machete.




A group of at least three then jump out of the vehicle on Willows Road in Balsall Heath, armed with similar weapons, and start swinging at each other.

Police are now investigating the shocking incident, though no arrests have been made.

One of the masked aggressors appeared to be using a baseball bat.


Another clip shows some of the masked attackers get into a white car, while another assailant enters a maroon one.


In the footage, both vehicles are then seen driving down the road and running a red light in the aftermath.



The white car's back window was smashed in the clash, but it is not clear if anyone was injured in the attack.


Another video showed the white car present while another vehicle was damaged by attackers on Brighton Road, less than a mile away, BirminghamLive reports.



A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: 'We’re investigating several reports of disorder in Balsall Heath yesterday afternoon.

'A group of men were seen attacking a parked car with weapons on Willows Road, Balsall Heath around 2.20pm. Some of the men left in a white Ford Fiesta.

'Further disorder was reported on Brighton Road and Woodstock Road around 2.45pm, where men were seen fighting. The incidents are believed to be linked.

'No-one has come forward with injuries and our officers carried out an extensive searches of the areas involved, however no weapons were found and the men had dispersed.


'We are aware of videos circulating on social media of these incidents, which do look alarming.

'We want to reassure local residents that we are working harder than ever to establish the full circumstances of the incidents and trace the individuals involved.
