Moment young boy accidentally falls out of moving SUV and hangs onto the door

A young boy accidentally fell out of a moving vehicle on a busy Mexican road and held onto the door for dear life before being pulled back in.

Dramatic footage captured from a biker in Puebla, Mexico, shows the moment a grey Toyota SUV's door swung open when making a left turn at a busy intersection as a boy in a red shirt could be spotted holding onto the door.

Someone inside the vehicle screams as the boy desperately hangs onto the door while his feet begin to drag on the road.

The biker filming the harrowing scene appears to speed up to try and catch the boy.

The SUV is able to come to a stop and an older person grabs the boy and sits him away from the door as a man pops out of the passenger seat to asses the situation.

The biker, speaking in Spanish, asks if the boy is okay. After receiving confirmation that the child is alright, the biker lets out a sigh of relief and drives away.

The viral video was posted on TikTok earlier this week and has been viewed more than 2 million times as it asks viewers to 'be very careful with kids.'

Many in the comments were quick to express their outrage over the incident and the apparent lack of a child safety seat in the vehicle.

One TikTok user by the name Raul wrote: 'No car seat. No seatbelt, a whole grownup in the back sit who can’t react for… smh these are the ppl that don’t deserve to have kids.'

Another TikTok user, Daisy Mata, echoed the concerns, writing: 'Where’s the car seat?? Seatbelt? Child lock?'

A TikTok user with the handle Sweet shy candy expressed her shock at the situation, writing, 'Omg if the kid didn’t hold on, he would of gone under the wheel.'

Hilda Alba, another TikTok user, was among the many who also criticized the man in the passenger seat, who many assumed to be the boy's father.

'How did the dad not even react,' Alba wrote about the man's delayed response.

TikTok user Are Muniz also took issue with the man's casual reaction, writing, 'And they are just smiling like something normal.'
